Washington, DC - President Biden announced Wednesday that he is authorizing the release of 1.5 million tickets from the Strategic Taylor Swift Ticket Reserve. Biden said the 1.5 million tickets will be released over the next two weeks, which should help keep "Swifties" — fans of Taylor Swift — at bay, he said.
"Some folks got tickets, but many waited in line only to find they missed out or that the general sale wasn't happening. Families are hurting. Ticketmaster is failing us." Biden said.
With only one third of the Strategic Taylor Swift Ticket Reserve still available — over 1 million tickets — the White House will prepare for future releases should the need arise in the coming months. The tour is scheduled to start early next year.
